Last Saturday, you turned four. In looking back at pictures of you last year, you have grown so much. Three inches and four pounds to be exact (but you still wear the same size of clothes as you did last summer)!
You are great fun to be around. You say the funniest things and are very insightful. At school, everyone wants to be your friend. You are a wonderful singer and dancer and your favorite movie right now is Annie. You love to play teacher, mommy and doctor with who ever will play with you, as long as you can call the shots. You still enjoy cleaning and are very helpful around the house. You have become very picky in what you wear and will now only wear skirts, dresses and long stretchy pants. Absolutely no shorts or jeans. You eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at least seven times a week, often more, and would have ice cream everyday if we allowed it. You are starting to read some words, including the names of all of your friends, and your drawings of people have all of the critical parts like eyes, nose, ears, arms, legs, etc. Your favorite words are "seriously," "ridiculous," and "unacceptable." You are trying to master the knock-knock joke and your BFF is still Abby. You are very strong-willed, which your dad and I will try to embrace. We love that you still think we are cool and want us to play, color and read with you. It is so exciting for us to see your personality taking shape.
For your birthday, we had a ladybug picnic. Grandma and Grandpa came from Utah and Kellie, Gabe and Khale came from Davis to celebrate with you. Aunt Kristen made you a darling ladybug bracelet and Aunt Jessie took lots of pictures of you and your friends. We had almost 1,000 live ladybugs for your friends and Grandpa helped distribute them into little ladybug houses. Except for missing Senya because she was sick, it was a perfect day!
We love you little lady!
Your Mom and Dad
