Rusti is the first of the 2005 baby boomers to turn 4. This is a big deal to me because that means that Ava is next .... and I am not old enough ... o.k. quit laughing ... not ready to have a 4 year old.
So here is a little tribute to Rusti Roo.
R ... avishing lips and fully accessorized. Rusti is never without her 15 different lip glosses in a cute little purse of some sort.
U ... nbelievably petite. At the beach in March, she was wearing an 18 mo. sized bathing suit! (So much for the hand-me-downs we had hoped for. Ava was giving Rusti hand-me-downs after about the six-week mark :))
S ... wimming, bouncing, spinning, dancing, tumbling, diving, jumping, leaping, on-the-move girl. I have no doubt she will be an elite gymnast or ballerina someday.
T ... rusty traveler to Cali on a frequent basis. Ava and Rusti have been lots of places together in the last four years.
I ... ncredibly sweet. Two of my favorite Rusti- isms. When Ava and Rusti were one year old just starting to talk coherently, we took them to San Diego to the Zoo and Wild Animal Park. We put both of their car seats in the back row of the mini van. Ava was having a hard time (I can't remember why at the moment), and I heard Rusti's little voice say - "You o.k. Ava? You o.k.?" Then, this past Christmas, Ava and Rusti were playing boxing on the Wii. Everytime Rusti's player punched Ava, Rusti would stop and say - "I'm sorry, Ava." That is just Rusti for you.
We love you, girl! Glad you had an awesome day.

Awe, thanks Aunt Deb!! Rusti loves you.
I ditto everything you just said. Happy Birthday Rusti.
I want pictures of the wreck, the bike and some of the battle wounds. We have been thinking about Ammon all day, we hope he is feeling better.
