Happy Birthday Kristen!

I was hoping to get my hands on the picture of Kristen in the huge white grannie panties, but then it occurred to me that my birthday is in August .... and who knows what incriminating pics of me Kristen might be able to come up with between now and then.  SO, Happy 26th Birthday Sis!  Here are some fun facts about Kristen:

- Along with Ammon, she is the smartest person I know.  

- She is in first place of all of my friends and family for the number of trips made to California to visit me.

- I have never heard her complain about anything in my entire life.  That includes morning sickness for most of her pregnancies, working night shifts, putting up with three obnoxious older siblings, the crazy hairdos I gave her when I was her Vidal and she was a statue, nada.  

- We both love Mario.

- We got tattoos together (o.k., they were henna tattoos, but it was fun just the same)

- I used to really be into making my own Christmas cards and it was very important to me that I do it every year.  The first year that I started practicing law, I was just swamped with work and so overwhelmed.  I had tearfully mentioned to my mom that this would be the first year I would have to buy cards from the store. (silly thing to cry over, I know)  In early December, I received a package in the mail with a bunch of handmade cards that I only needed to put the finishing touches on.  They were beautiful.  I think about Kristen's thoughtfulness every year when I send out cards. 

- Almost every dessert recipe in my recipe folder is from Kristen. Who would have thunk it with her skinny little body?

- She and her friends used to call 900 numbers off of the t.v. and talk on the chat lines --- until the phone bill came :)

- She is an amazing mom to Rusti and Addi.  I've never heard her raise her voice with them or even get upset.  I wish I had a fraction of her patience.    

-  She is my tri buddy!

O.k., I couldn't help myself - had to throw a couple good photos in :)  Just like Kellie, I went with the tights theme.  (I am pretty sure she won't find any photos of me in tights come August!)
