Today is Kellie's 30th Birthday and there was no way that I could top Kristen's ode to Kellie on her blog (nice job Kris!), but I figured that I could contribute to the wide dissemination of the AWESOME she-mullet and bubble-yum photos :)

Now for my own ode to Kellie Dawn ...
First, for those of you who know Kellie, I am sure you will all agree on one thing. She is the next generation of my mom, which makes her pretty much perfect in my eyes. She has so many admirable qualities, it is hard to list them all. But here are a few.
SHE LIVES IN CALIFORNIA!!! (sorry Mom and Dad, had to throw that in ::)
She is hilarious. She is able to find the good in everyone and every situation which means that she is constantly laughing and keeps everyone else around her laughing.
She is smart. She teaches genetics, biology and even sex ed. to high schoolers (which gives her lots of fodder to keep us all laughing).
She is an incredible athlete. Whether it be hoola hoop or racing her on the track --- she will win!
She is a hard worker. She can cook, clean, get ready to go out, have her kids ready to go, and make it all look effortless. Maybe because she can do half of the work with her toes and half of it with her hands.
She is such a good Mom. We all know that it took Ammon and I a long time to have kids ... and I remember wondering if we would ever be parents. Then I watched my little sister become this beautiful mother to Gabe and my heart softened. For that I will always be grateful!

I cannot WAIT until August 9th. You are so toast. By the way, the she mullet was NOT my idea and I think you had one as well. I am pretty sure we have some pictures of that around. I totally remember the Bubble Yum picture day, it was one of those "Crap - its picture day today?". I seem to have had a lot of those.
I am loving the she mullet now I need to check the ode to Kellie on Kristen's blog!
Those pictures of Kellie are HILARIOUS! And I agree, she is definitely the next generation of Aunt Geri for sure!
