Today is Ammon's mom's birthday. For those of you who don't know Bente, she is quite amazing. Here are a couple of interesting facts: She is from Denmark and moved with her family to the United States when she was thirteen. She had seven kids in nine years ... that, in and of itself, is pretty awesome. She graduated from BYU with a degree in Psychology, which probably comes in handy when dealing with seven kids. The two traits that I admire about her most is her loving heart and persistence. Case in point, she recently rekindled a relationship with her brother living in Australia after 40 years. She loves beautiful things: art, music, theater, gardening, and books. And, she has a talent for making all things around her beautiful (think of Martha Stewart, but even better). Wishing we were in Washington to spend the day with you! Happy Birthday Bente!

Hey Deb, I got all caught up on your life by reading every one of your posts. Its great to see you doing so well. Sorry to your sweet MIL for commenting on her special post. For the record I hope Bente had a great b-day. Send me your email so I don't have to hijack any more posts. Take care
