That Darn Carrot ...

Ava had her holiday program at the Rialto on Thursday night.  It was so cute.  The theme for her class was snowmen.  Ava sang her little heart out (see photo #1).

There were only a couple little funnies - o.k. a lot of them, but here are the highlights:  First, the kids were supposed to look like snowmen, but they ended up looking like bag ladies (see photos #1 and #2) --- especially the girls.  Second, Ava's carrot nose kept flipping up (see photo #2).  Finally,  she flashed the crowd twice, exposing her new Dora the Explorer panties (no photo of that thank goodness, but video caught it all).   It was a wonderful program.  Thanks CK!

Our good friends, the Tuckers, just transferred Erynn and Emmerson to Ava's school.  YAY!  Erynn and Ava have been friends since they were ten weeks old.  At this rate, they'll have Tam and I beat for the world's longest friendship.

I don't think Ava looks like a bag lady - she looks very cute. I wish I could have seen the program, I love those things.

Sooo cute. I wish we lived close enough to come watch. Rusti wanted to know who the other kids were and I told her I didn't know their names and she said, "but Ava's friends are important to me!!"
