Milky Way v. Snickers

Milky Ways ....Well, my bag of Milky Ways is almost gone.  I have two more left which I will polish off before this post uploads.   I don't usually buy Milky Ways on my candy runs, but I do eat a whole bag every October.  I have been doing this since I can remember, although I did not graduate to eating a whole bag until I graduated from high school.  Before that, I shared a bag with my mom and sisters.

Milky Ways remind me of fall, Grandma Roach, sweaters, VF Factory Outlet, Brick Oven Pizza, The University Mall, crisp clear blue skies, crafting and stamping, $50 in my pocket, JoAnn's laugh, Pick & Save, getting car sick, Roberts, holding hands with my favorite cousin (and being told that it was not cool to do so), the back seat of Grandma's white car, Hometown Buffet, Fritzy's, wassel, BYU football games, and white beans & ham.

This year, in addition to my own bag, I bought a separate bag of Milky Ways to share with Ava - Senya will get hers vicariously.  On Saturday, the girls and I went shopping and I thought about how grateful I am for the wonderful women in my family.

What a great post! I am sure that there are very few people who can appreciate their very own bag of Snickers or Milky Ways the way that we can. Especially on deer hunt weekend!

Awe, we missed you guys too, and we didn't forget the milkey ways! I'll do a post about it for you once I get Cindy and becca's pictures and the spooky pancakes are awesome. Where did you get that?

I love the memories! I still don't remember telling you it wasn't cool to hold hands at the mall. Sorry for the emotional scar.
